Founded in 1950, SIEL, the non-governmental union of the Loire Department of Energy manages thousands of kilometers of electricity and gas networks. SIEL chose 4D in 1996 to develop a custom application. It manages the relationship with local authorities including 327 municipalities in the Loire through their current actions (hiding power grids and telecommunications, electrification, street lighting, energy management in public buildings) and ensures the development of sustainable energy.
